Staffing for Workplaces

Office boys, commercial cleaners and guards, verified to the same standard we apply to live-in household staff.

Support Staff for Workplaces, Not Just Homes

Staffly places support staff with offices, clinics, salons, retail units and small businesses on the same verification standard we apply to household placements. Office boys, commercial cleaners and security guards are the roles we are asked for most often.

The commercial requirement differs from a household one in a way that matters operationally: an unstaffed reception or an uncleaned clinic is not an inconvenience you absorb for a few days, it is a business problem that is visible to clients immediately.

Roles We Place for Businesses

Office boys handle the operational detail of a working day: refreshments, keeping common areas presentable, deliveries and outgoing documents, and errands. It is a broad role where reliability and punctuality matter more than any single technical skill.

Commercial cleaners work to a fixed, repeatable checklist, usually before opening or after hours, at a consistency standard higher than most household work because customers and clients see the result. Security guards cover access control, premises monitoring and overnight coverage depending on the shift pattern you need.

  • Office boys for offices, co-working spaces and small businesses
  • Commercial cleaners for offices, clinics, salons and retail units
  • Security guards for premises access and overnight coverage
  • Multi-role and multi-shift requirements across a single site

Why Commercial Cleaning Is a Different Skill

Someone excellent at household cleaning is not automatically suited to commercial work, and the reverse is equally true. Commercial cleaning runs on a schedule and a checklist rather than judgment about what a home needs that day, and it is measured against a standard a client will notice if it slips.

Clinics and food businesses raise the bar again, with hygiene requirements that genuinely need relevant prior experience rather than general cleaning competence. Tell us the setting explicitly when you brief us so we shortlist people who have actually worked in it.

Shift Patterns and Multiple Positions

Businesses frequently need more than one person, or one position covered across shifts. Both are straightforward, but they take longer than a single household placement simply because every position needs its own shortlist and its own interviews.

Give us as much notice as you reasonably can for multi-position requirements, and be specific about shift structure upfront. Rotating shifts, overnight coverage and weekend requirements all change what a candidate is agreeing to, and vagueness here is a common reason commercial placements end early.

Verification Is a Business Risk Question

Support staff in a workplace have access to equipment, client areas, sometimes cash handling, and frequently the premises outside business hours when nobody else is present. The case for verification is at least as strong as it is in a household, with an added reputational dimension if something goes wrong.

We apply the same process regardless of whether the client is a family or a company: identity confirmed against NADRA records, a Police Character Certificate from the candidate own local police station, and previous employers called directly by our team.

Commercial Terms

Businesses are placed on the same terms as households. A one-time placement fee equal to one month of the agreed salary, charged only once you confirm a hire, with no ongoing commission taken from the staff member pay. Every placement carries the same 6-month free replacement guarantee.

The staff member is employed directly by your business, with salary paid directly to them. We are not a payroll intermediary and do not take a monthly cut, which keeps the arrangement simple and keeps the full agreed salary going to the person doing the work.

Common Questions

Do you place staff for businesses as well as households?

Yes. Office boys, commercial cleaners and security guards are regularly placed with offices, clinics, salons and retail businesses, on the same verification standard and guarantee terms as household placements.

Can you fill several positions at one site?

Yes. Tell us the roles and the shift pattern and we shortlist for each position separately. Multi-position requirements take longer than a single placement, so give us as much notice as you can.

Is the fee different for commercial clients?

No. It is the same one-time placement fee equal to one month of the agreed salary, charged only once you confirm a hire, with no ongoing commission.

Do you handle payroll for placed staff?

No. Staff are employed directly by your business and paid directly by you. We handle sourcing, verification and placement, and stay reachable during the guarantee period if an issue comes up.
