Our Replacement Guarantee
One month's salary, charged once. If the placement does not work out within 6 months, we search again for free.
What the 6-Month Guarantee Covers
If a placement does not work out within 6 months of the start date for a reasonable cause, we restart the search and place a replacement without charging the placement fee again. Not a reduced fee, not an administrative charge. The replacement search costs you nothing.
The guarantee applies to every role we place, at every salary level, in every city we serve. A cook and a security guard are covered on identical terms, and we do not apply a shorter window to lower-paid roles.
What Counts as a Reasonable Cause
A genuine mismatch between what was represented and what the placement turned out to be: skill that does not match what was demonstrated at interview, persistent reliability problems, or a working-style mismatch that makes the arrangement unworkable despite reasonable effort on both sides.
What is not covered is a household changing its mind about needing staff at all, or a request for a fresh hire for a different role entirely. That is a new placement rather than a replacement, and a new fee applies as it would for any first hire.
- Skill or experience materially below what was represented
- Persistent lateness, absence or unreliability
- A genuine working-style mismatch after a fair attempt to resolve it
- Conduct issues that make continuing the placement untenable
How to Actually Use It
Contact us as soon as the problem is clear rather than waiting to see whether it resolves itself. Tell us specifically what is not working, since that detail is what lets us avoid repeating the same mismatch with the next candidate.
We restart the search immediately. In most cases a replacement shortlist reaches you within the same 24 to 48 hour window as an original request, because we are drawing from the same standing pool of already-verified candidates.
Why We Set It at Six Months
Most genuine mismatches surface within the first few weeks, and nearly all of them within the first few months. A window shorter than that, thirty days being common elsewhere, closes before some real problems have had time to appear, particularly for roles where a household is not present all day to observe.
Six months is long enough to cover the period where a placement realistically reveals itself, without becoming an open-ended commitment to endless free replacements years after a successful hire. It is a boundary, and we would rather state it plainly than advertise a vague guarantee period that means whatever is convenient later.
What the Guarantee Is Not
It is not a substitute for interviewing candidates properly or running a trial period. Verification confirms who someone is and what their history is; only you can judge whether they fit your household, and the guarantee exists to cover the cases where that judgment turns out wrong, not to replace making it.
It is also not a reason to set terms a good candidate would refuse. Underpaying relative to the local market produces turnover the guarantee will technically cover but that nobody actually wants to keep repeating.
Getting the Terms in Writing
We confirm the guarantee terms directly with every household at the time of placement, including the exact end date of your window, so you have something concrete to refer back to rather than relying on memory of a sales conversation.
If you are comparing us against another agency, ask them for the same thing in writing: the exact duration in months, what specifically triggers a free replacement, and whether it is genuinely free or partially charged. A guarantee that nobody will put in writing is not really a guarantee.
Common Questions
How long is the guarantee?
6 months from the date the placement starts, on every role we place.
Is the replacement genuinely free?
Yes. No second placement fee, no reduced fee, no processing or administrative charge for a replacement inside the guarantee window.
How many replacements can I request?
There is no fixed number, but the guarantee covers genuine mismatches rather than an indefinite series of changes. If a household is on a third or fourth replacement, we would rather sit down and work out what is going wrong in the brief than keep cycling candidates.
What happens after six months?
A new hire after the window closes is treated as a fresh placement and the standard fee applies, the same as it would for any first hire.
Does the guarantee cover staff who resign?
Yes, if the staff member leaves within the guarantee window we treat it as a placement that did not work out and restart the search at no additional fee.
