Prepare a painting scope before comparing quotes
Describe the rooms or external surfaces, their current condition and whether the property will remain occupied during the work. A small touch-up and a complete repaint require different preparation, access and cleanup arrangements. Ask the painter to inspect the surfaces before confirming quantities or a completion date; a photograph alone may not show the underlying condition.
What to assess before agreeing
Ask for examples of comparable finished work and a reference you can contact. Discuss preparation, the proposed finish and how a sample area will be approved. The assessment should establish whether the person can explain a sequence of work suited to your property, rather than simply naming a paint brand or promising the shortest finish time.
Put the scope and costs in writing
Separate labour, materials, protection of furniture, access equipment and disposal in the quote. Record who buys materials and how receipts or unused supplies will be handled. Agree how additional work is approved if a hidden problem is found. Confirm whether the quoted arrangement is a defined project, a day rate or an ongoing role; do not treat a daily guide rate as a complete project price.
- Which surfaces and preparation tasks are included?
- Who approves colours, the sample finish and any extra work?
- What will be inspected before the final payment?
Plan the work in F-6, Islamabad
Confirm the workplace in F-6, Islamabad, the reporting point and the full schedule. Include any travel between properties, access restrictions and the person authorized to give instructions. Discuss these details before fixing an interview or start date; the area name alone does not confirm that a particular commute or working arrangement is suitable.
Share the brief with Staffly and ask which candidate checks are complete, what remains to be confirmed and how the proposed terms apply to your requirement. Current availability, pay and any project costs must be agreed for the actual work. Keep the employee wage or trade quote separate from the agency fee and review the written terms before paying.
