Select a driver for your vehicle and journeys in Islamabad
Tell Staffly if you require a male candidate, then share the duties, workdays, hours and budget. Suitability depends on the complete requirement; confirm current availability and the next interview step with the placement team.
Describe the complete duty period
List the vehicle, transmission, pickup location and regular destinations. Include waiting time, school pickups, late finishes, airport journeys and out-of-city travel. A split morning and evening schedule should be discussed explicitly; it can occupy a whole day even when driving hours are modest. State whether the vehicle stays with the household or employer, and where the driver reports when there is no scheduled journey.
Assess driving ability before agreeing a start
Inspect a current licence appropriate to the vehicle and discuss relevant experience. Arrange a supervised assessment that includes observation, parking, reversing and passenger comfort in suitable conditions. Do not judge only by speed or confidence. Ask how the candidate responds to a warning light, an unfamiliar route or a delayed passenger. Define safe communication arrangements and make clear that phone use must not distract from driving.
Agree vehicle records and expense approval
Use a simple record for mileage, fuel receipts, maintenance concerns and any damage noticed at handover. Name the person who authorises repairs or extra journeys. Discuss tolls, parking and overnight travel separately from salary. Specify who may travel in the vehicle and whether personal use is prohibited. A clear handover routine protects both the vehicle owner and the employee from disagreements about pre-existing faults.
Plan the workplace and reporting time in Islamabad
For a workplace in the F or G sectors, share the sector and reporting point. For E-11, Bani Gala or a housing society, include access instructions when arranging the interview. If duties cross into Rawalpindi, state both destinations and the complete schedule. A neighbourhood name alone does not establish whether a daily commute works for the candidate.
Agree costs and check the candidate's information
The displayed salary is a guide for discussion, not a personalised offer. Ask for the employee wage, agency placement fee, trial payment and work expenses separately. Agree payment dates, rest days and any extra-duty arrangements in writing. Read the replacement policy and its conditions before paying; replacement terms should not be assumed to mean an unconditional refund.
Ask which identity, reference and role-specific checks are complete for the proposed person. Clarify outstanding items and review relevant documents. Previous experience and reference information should relate to the duties you are hiring for. Keep necessary records securely and do not retain original identity documents as security.
Prepare for the first week
Give one person responsibility for instructions, provide the necessary tools and explain spending or access limits. Arrange a short review after the first few shifts. Use specific examples when discussing performance, and check whether the agreed workload fits the hours. Contact the placement team promptly if the arrangement needs attention, with the original brief and a factual account of the issue.
