Turn the carpentry request into a measurable brief
Specify whether you need a repair, fitted joinery, assembly or continuing maintenance support. List the items, their location and the finish you expect. For fitted work, arrange for measurements to be checked at the property before materials are ordered. Photographs and an approximate size can help the first conversation, but should not replace confirmed dimensions.
What to assess before agreeing
Ask to see work comparable to your intended repair or installation. Discuss materials, fittings, the expected appearance and how edges or joins will be finished. If a sample or drawing is needed, agree who approves it. The assessment should test whether the candidate understands your particular brief rather than assuming all furniture and joinery tasks are interchangeable.
Put the scope and costs in writing
Separate labour, boards or timber, hardware, transport and finishing in the quote. Record who purchases supplies and whether off-site fabrication is involved. Agree access hours, protection of the property and cleanup. Confirm how a change to dimensions, materials or design affects the quote before the additional work starts.
- Which dimensions and finish require approval?
- Are materials, hardware and transport included?
- How will the completed item be checked against the brief?
Plan the work in E-7, Islamabad
Confirm the workplace in E-7, Islamabad, the reporting point and the full schedule. Include any travel between properties, access restrictions and the person authorized to give instructions. Discuss these details before fixing an interview or start date; the area name alone does not confirm that a particular commute or working arrangement is suitable.
Share the brief with Staffly and ask which candidate checks are complete, what remains to be confirmed and how the proposed terms apply to your requirement. Current availability, pay and any project costs must be agreed for the actual work. Keep the employee wage or trade quote separate from the agency fee and review the written terms before paying.
